Advanced Dental Technology Lucas

You Deserve Results That Make a Difference

Dr. Hubler doesn’t do patchwork dentistry—he treats the whole patient by determining the possible root cause of reoccurring dental problems. In order to execute this comprehensive approach to care, it’s necessary to utilize the latest dental technology available, from our advanced cone beam CT scanner to 3D printing and in-house milling. We invite you to learn more about the difference that each of these instruments makes in your quality of care by reading below.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Our cone beam CT scanner is a high-resolution, 3D imaging device that shows Dr. Hubler so much more than your average X-ray. You’ll rest your chin on a small stand as the imaging device rotates around your head, capturing hundreds of images. It then pieces them together to create a comprehensive 3D model of your entire facial structure, showing your airway, jawbone, sinuses, and so much more. This allows for more detailed and accurate diagnoses so we can get to the bottom of your issues.

Digital Impressions

Instead of using thick putty that often causes patients to gag to take impressions, we opt for a wand-like intraoral camera. All we need to do to capture a precise digital blueprint of your gums and teeth is to wave the wand around your mouth. Then, we can send it directly to our in-house milling machine or off-site dental laboratory to craft your restoration, oral appliance, or prosthetic.

Soft Tissue Laser

Our Solea CO2 laser is designed to provide more comfortable, precise, and complication-free treatment for our patients. Instead of cutting, the laser vaporizes tissue and cauterizes it, minimizing bleeding and eliminating the need for sutures in many cases. This technology also reduces post-operative discomfort and recovery time for a more positive patient experience.

CEREC CAD/CAM & Milling

Using CAD/CAM software, we’re able to custom-design your dental restorations in-house, as well as mill them. This leads to better-fitting restorations in addition to faster turnaround times, allowing you to spend less time in the treatment chair.

3D Printing

Our Primeprint 3D printing system is designed to be used in dental offices, creating medical-grade oral appliances, aligners, and more. Instead of sending impressions off to a dental laboratory and having your appliance crafted by someone who has never seen your mouth in-person, we’re able to streamline the process by completing it all under one roof.

Intraoral Camera

Providing us with a more detailed up-close view of your teeth and gums, our intraoral camera allows for greater diagnostic precision. Its sleek wand design makes it comfortable for our patients with sensitive gag reflexes, and the high-resolution camera at the tip of it allows us to capture still images and video footage to help educate you on our findings.
